What exactly is the Street Fair at College of the Desert? 

It’s an open-air shopping experience in Coachella Valley with literally everything in a mall. Local vendors sell fresh produce, street food, clothes, accessories, utensils, etc. They even have cars on display, live entertainment, and art exhibits. 

The best part is the prices are lower than in the malls.

Social Distancing

The Street Fair at College of the Desert is COVID-19 compliant, so expect social distancing protocols for shoppers and vendors. 

New Merchants

Since reopening last January 1, 2022, new merchants have joined the Street Fair at College of the Desert. Currently, these are the vendors included in the lineup:

• The Kitchen Outlet - This store offers top-notch kitchen accessories like Swedish dishcloths, jar openers, etc. You can also order online at their website.

• Fab Brows - If you’re looking for long-lasting eye makeup, you can drop by for smudge-proof, sweat-proof, and high-quality lead-free mineral products. Try their eyelash extensions, eyebrow kit, and magnetic eyeliner.

• My Green Mop - Their cleaning supplies are environmentally-friendly and efficient. Green Mop has microfiber mops and an air purification system, among other items.

•  The Gourmet Grater - They sell handcrafted garlic graters from Spain and other kitchenware. Their equipment is also kid-friendly and easy to clean.

• The Cashmere Guy - Are you searching for ethical handmade fashion? The Cashmere Guy sells fair-trade cashmere products from Nepal.

• Cathedral City Lock & Safe - Fix broken locks or get custom keychains with this expert locksmith. 

• Spoiled Dog Designs - This is your go-to store if you need dog toys, leashes, and treats.

• Jackie Jacobson Art Studio - Get Custom paintings of your pet or yourself and home accessory gifts like mugs.

• The Silvermine - View a vast collection of modern and handmade sterling silver jewelry at The Silvermine.

• Olde Tyme Ice Cream - Kids and adults will love this ice cream shop’s delectable ice cream bars, cheesecake on a stick, and frozen bananas. They are also available for catering and deliveries.

The new Street Fair at College of the Desert is at 43500 Monterey Avenue. It features a spacious car and bus parking area, live entertainment grounds, and family-friendly benches for outdoor dining. The Street Fair at College of the Desert is open from 8 am to 2 pm on weekends.
