Pono Parnters LLC acquired the former “Wet ‘N Wild” waterpark in 2019 to develop a Palm Springs Surf Club. Master wave architects Cheyne Magnussen and Kalani Robb head the team and are building a larger wave pool. Apart from the wave pool, they are enhancing the water park for families and creating a bar, spa, and restaurant. They aim to offer a range of surfing opportunities in this desert location.

Ride the ocean wave with a magnificent view of the mountains. DSRT Surf Resort features ocean-like waves with crystal clear waters. The Wavegarden Cove powers the waves and allows for consistent turns and barrels. It’s what every surfer needs. The resort also offers a relaxed atmosphere with 32 villas, a 92-room hotel, a golf course, and a spa. Guests can practice a healthy lifestyle with amenities like a fitness center, yoga studio, volleyball, and tennis courts. Locally-sourced food and friendly staff are perks of the resort as well. 

Coral Mountain

Coral Mountain is considered the largest wave park in the world. The basin uses the Kelly Slater Wave Company technology to generate the waves. 

The 400-acre private property has 600 luxury homes, a boutique hotel, retail stores, and commercial spaces. Residents also benefit from environmentally-friendly features such as sidewalks, open spaces, multipurpose trails, conservation areas, and landscaping for stormwater management. 

Thermal Beach Club 

Described as a lavish retreat, the Thermal Beach Club is a luxury estate providing a resort lifestyle in the desert. It features one-story and two-story homes decorated with beautiful archways, accents, and recreational spaces. They also have extraordinary amenities like the 20-acre private lagoon optimized by the desert’s weather. Besides this, you can find a private surf lagoon, an equestrian space, a surf shack, and an executive airport.
